<p>The study of land legislation in Western Europe is becoming particularly relevant against the background of globalization, climate change and urbanization. These processes directly affect the legal regulation of land ownership, use and protection, especially in the context of sustainable development and protection of private property rights. The land legislation here is not just a set of rules, it is the foundation on which the economy and social structure are built. Thus, changes in land legislation can have a significant impact on agriculture, construction, environmental law, and even migration policy. Western European countries are taking increasingly complex and comprehensive measures to regulate land use, reflecting their desire to combine economic development with environmental protection and social justice. The main changes relate to stricter requirements for land use, the introduction of new environmental standards and the expansion of public participation in land decision-making. Transparency and access to information about land resources also play an important role, which is becoming extremely important in a growing information society. The relevance of land law in Western Europe is also driven by large-scale economic projects, such as the creation of cross-border infrastructures or the development of new urban projects that require coordination of land rules between countries. This highlights the importance of adapting legislation to international standards and practices in order to ensure efficient and equitable use of resources.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Германское гражданское уложение</kwd><kwd>кодекс Наполеона</kwd><kwd>частная собственность на землю</kwd><kwd>правомочия собственника</kwd><kwd>земельное законодательство</kwd><kwd>континентальное европейское право</kwd><kwd>гражданское европейское законодательство</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>German civil code</kwd><kwd>the Napoleonic Code</kwd><kwd>private ownership of land</kwd><kwd>the rights of the owner</kwd><kwd>land legislation</kwd><kwd>continental European law</kwd><kwd>European civil legislation</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Гражданский кодекс Франции (Кодекс Наполеона) от 21.03.1804 (с изм. по состоянию на 01.09.2011)</mixed-citation></ref><ref id="ref2"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">«Гражданское уложение Германии» (ГГУ) от 18.08.1896 (ред. по 31.03.2013)</mixed-citation></ref><ref id="ref3"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Аннерс Э.
